Jim and Andi Monroe, owners of The Front Porch restaurant in Eureka, have been selected to represent Montana at the Capitol Christmas Tree lighting in Washington, D.C. the 1st week of December! The restaurant was selected to make food for the reception following the lighting of the tree. WOW! Our community is asked to help them with the cost of airfare, food, and lodging for this trip. UPDATE! Jim and Andi were the featured story on the front page of the October 26 issue of The Daily Inter Lake!

Today’s Daily Inter Lake gives accolades to our community’s generosity. “Maybe most impressive has been the flood of support coming out of Lincoln County. Students at Eureka’s Lincoln County High School directed that donations at the annual Rumble in the Jungle school fundraiser go to fire relief. Residents stepped up in droves last weekend, donating an amazing $44,000 in just four hours.” Pat yourselves on the back, Eureka!
