Assembling the best of fiber arts and fiber agriculture and promoting awareness of the fiber industry, Fiberfest Eureka!! takes place the first weekend of August every year on the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Eureka.
There will be many vendors as well as a variety of hands-on demonstrations and classes working with natural fibers for spinning, weaving, felting, crocheting, knitting, and animal care and selection. The animals that provide many of the fibers will be present, as will a petting zoo the whole family can enjoy! There will be evaluations for fiber animals, judging for fleeces and finished fiber products, and the usual farm photo contest. Beginner to Advanced entries are welcome for all contests!
